Hvordan bruker man en avantar som man har liggende på maskin? Eller på bildet ligge på nettet?

Det går ikke ann å velge avantar da jeg skriver inn linken til det bilde jeg skal bruke....... er det no feil da, eller er det jeg som har missforstått kraftig!?
håper noen kan si hva jeg skal gjøre!
