Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me when the Scottish coach Danny McLennan was at Kongsvinger IL.

Thank you

He coached Kongsvinger the season 1978, before he was sacked.

As player he played for Dundee and Huns.

Do you know if he is still alive?

Unfortunately I do not have much information about him. But he was assosiated with the Philippine Football Association in 1963-64, the Rhodesian Football Association 1968-73 and the Iran Football Federation 1973-76.

Do you have any information about his career after Kongsvinger sacked him?

you missed out Iraq he coached them from 1975-1976 (I think he coached Bahrain after that)

After his spell with Kongsvinger he coached Jordan, then a club in Saudi Arabia, Malawi, a couple of Jordanian clubs, Mauritius (twice in 1965-67 and also in the 80s?), he also coached a club in Kenya, Fiji and Libya(national teams)

His last job was with Indian club Churchill Brothers Sports Club (he had two spells with them, the first in 1996)

Overall he coached 9 national teams (I think he is one of only three who has achieved this the other two I think were Germans)
